About a year or so ago, I had some ideas for some short stories.  They were to take place in a fictional town of Baton Noir, ID.  The first story appeared in July of 2002.  This story was set in July of 1919.  The stories continued every other month, roughly corresponding to the equivalent time in 1919.  That is, September's newsletter would have a story from around September of 1919 and so on.  I originally wrote one year's worth of stories.  These six have all made it into newsletters.  I got such a load of flack last time for killing "Pete the Firehorse" that I decided to write another story that is "nice".  I have received some encouragement to continue writing stories, so there will be more in future newsletters.  There wasn't room for a story this time, but there will be one next newsletter, which should come out shortly after the fall meeting.
