1. Not more than two people allowed per car at any time as a driver or assistant. More than two people can be participants with any one car but no more than two working on it at any one time during the race including coffee stops. Any relief driver must be a paid-up member of the Association.
2. No outside help allowed while under time on the road. Driver guilty of either of above willl be penalized one hour.
3. Route will be posted and marked as deemed advisable.
4. Last day of race scheduled to end at noon in order to have time for teardown inspection, meeting, etc.
5. Sponsors and advertising optional.
6. Club will furnish braided seal wire. Each driver will put the wire in place so that it may be sealed, or No inspection.
7. Drill left hand front head bolt, second or third large pan bolt and first or second small pan bolt.
8. Removal of head or pan will impose a time penalty of one hour unless you are under time clock. Removal of head or pan should be reported to the Timers by anyone knowing of such being done.
9. No replacement of complete engine allowed. Penalty for such being done is disqualification.
10. No battery to exceed 6 volts.
11. Other repairs during time out, no penalty.
12. Disabled cars may be trailered in and will receive slow time plus a one hour time penalty from last check out point. Cars trailered in on last day are not eligible for prize money and/or trophies. Please report to Timer as soon as possible. Penalty applies only to the class in which your car is entered.
13. Citation by law will constitute a time penalty of one hour.
14. The first three cars in each class will be torn down and inspected by five appointed inspectors, with all cars being available for inspection. The decision of the inspectors is final. All inspectors must vote.
15. Any car disqualified, the owner becomes responsible for reassembly.
16. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN COMPETING CARS. THIS IS A MUST AND ANYONE GUILTY OF AN INFRACTION WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
2. Reboring of cylinders not to exceed sixty-thousandths oversize.
3. No limit on amount of milling of block and/or head.
4. Cast iron or aluminum pistons of stock Model "T" type required.
5. There must be one standard assembly (piston and rod) in the engine. The other three assemblies can be balanced to this one.
6. Full set of piston rings required.
7. Stock Model "T" camshaft with no modifications.
8. Only standard size valve heads and forty-five degree valves and seats allowed. Use of pin or two piece keepers and valve setting optional.
9. No air holes allowed in manifold, must be plugged if present.
10. The use of a stock aluminum manifold is allowed.
11. No grinding of the intake or exhaust manifold or of the ports allowed. Must be stock dimensions wh~ch is 1-1/8 inches.
12. Chroming of crankshaft is optional.
13. No oversize journals on crankshaft allowed.
14. No counterbalanced crankshaft allowed.
15. Drilling of rod caps and use of dippers optional.
16. Type of fourth main is optional.
17. All transmission bands must be in working order, bonded type optional.
18. Only NH Holley swayback and/or Ford swayback carburetors allowed. No boring of carburetors or of needles and seats a1lowed. Must be complete including choke butterfly. Carburetors can be interchanged among years. Not more than three qualified carburetors allowed in possession. Carburetor bolt on thread end must be drilled and also drill center head bolt on manifold side for sealing purposes. 710 thousandths gauge must not go through carburetor. Changing of carburetor will incure a 15 minute penalty. This must be reported to one (1) inspector.
19. Gas strainers allowed.
20. Only one outside oil line, not more than one-half inch outside diameter allowed, no modification to inside oiling system allowed.
21. Only stock Ford roller type, New Day or Anderson flapper type timers allowed. Ball or needle bearing rollers optional.
22. Heat or temperature gauges optional.
23. Design and use of water pump optional.
24. V type belt and pulleys optional.
25. Adjustable lifters are optional.
THE PENALTY FOR INFRACTION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES IS DISQUALIFICATION.
