Dear Members,

The Annual Fall meeting was held on November 7, 1998 at Peking Gardens in Great Falls, Montana.

23 new members joined the Association during the last 4 years, and we do extend our appreciation to you.  Currently we have 37 members total.

No old business was brought up for discussion.

We elected new Officers and Directors for the years 1999-2000.

      Simon Nickol was elected President,

Stan Howe was elected Vice President,

      Tony Cerovski was elected Secretary-Treasurer,

and Janet Cerovski will serve as recorder of the minutes.

The List of Officer’s and Director’s now reads,

President Simon Nickol called for new business.

Missoula, Montana was the unanimous selection for the 1999 Race.  The dates will be from June 14 thru June 17, 1999.

George Nickol volunteered to be the race chairman and will set things up for the Missoula race.  Thank you George.

A brief discussion on the Rules was started.  Tony Cerovski asked “Since some Endurance Run entrants are using swirl-polished Chevy valves, should the Association show in the rules that the use of swirl-polished Chevy valves is now allowable?  This would avoid disqualification during tear down”.  President Simon Nickol responded with, “The valves must be 1.5 inches in diameter.  Any Ford or Chevy valve with 45 degree seats will do.” Simon then tabled the discussion.

There was no other new business and the meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m..

On behalf of the MCCTA, a gift of appreciation was given to Doug Langel, honoring him for his 37 years, plus or minus of quality membership and leadership.  Thanks a lot Doug, we all have a warm spot in our hearts for you.

To everyone who helped out during my terms of Presidency, I thank you sincerely.  Those efforts still mean a lot to me.  To the 23 newer members who joined during my terms, I thank you for joining and trusting me.  You are helping to keep alive one of the greatest events available for the driving Model T’ers.

I believe in being honest, especially in the role as President.  Great restraint was used in preparing my car for the races.  I do expect others who race, to exercise great restraint too.  Please come with legal cars as a matter of honor.

A note to everyone:  Additional new members will be needed in order for the club to survive.  If you want to continue racing the T’s, entrust a friend with a membership.

Thank you in advance for all of the help and participation that you will give to the Association during the coming years.

Sincerely yours,

Tony & Janet Cerovski

Outgoing President & Sec-Tres.
